基本结构图反映了船体纵、横构件的布置和结构情况，是全船的结构图样之一。主要包括：

1、纵中剖面结构图(central fore-and-aft plane construction plan)：图上注有肋骨尺度和间距、甲板纵桁尺度、各种支柱尺度、纵舱壁厚度及其上的扶强材尺度、上层建筑的高度以及板的厚度和扶强材尺度等 。

2、各层甲板图(deck plan)：图上注有甲板板的厚度、甲板纵桁的尺度和间距、横梁尺度、舷边角钢尺度和各开口的位置及尺寸等 。
